The fundamental underpinning of the situational leadership theory is there is no single “best” style of leadership. Successful leaders are those that adapt their leadership style to the level of the individual or group they are attempting to lead and influence.
- Learn more about leadership styles
- Practice leadership methods with your colleagues
- Understand why people respond differently to leadership styles
- Explore how the task influences the best style type
- Take control of the team and task!
This seminar uses activities to study how leadership varies with the person or group that is being influenced and focuses on the task that needs to be accomplished.
Teams and leaders will participate in a wide range of activities during the seminar designed for applying different leadership styles throughout the learning curve and discussions on performance, behavior and implementation of the models into the working environment, for example:
- 360 degree assessment
- Team dashboard
- Goals and objectives
- Group juggle
- Toxic waste
- Inventory transfer
This team building activity is a combination of seminar and activity. For best results, the seminar should be presented inside in a hotel conference room. We use breakout rooms, other conference rooms and practically any outside area to conduct the games and activities. This activity is available in all destinations in Thailand; Bangkok, Phuket, Samui, Krabi, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Chiang Mai and SE-Asia.
Discussion and debate is the main part of the activity. Following a presentation section, participants are given experiential tasks to complete in teams, after which group discussion is led by the facilitator.
The ideal length for the seminar is anywhere between a half day and three days. In half a day the basics of the model can be explained.
To get the most out of a seminar, a team survey should be completed before the event, and these results are then used in the seminar.
In addition, each topic is best explained with the use of an activity to follow, each one of which may take between 10 minutes and 1 hour depending on the activity.
