Chiang Mai Activity Guide
Chiang Mai is an ideal city retreat for your next incentive or team building trip destination. From our partner Anantara Chiang Mai hotel, situated near the river Ping and not far away from the central Old City area of the city, you will be able to partake in a large number of adventure, outdoor, indoor adventure team building activities as well as the ability to launch team CSR projects.
What makes Chiang Mai such a good city retreat for companies seeking to go on team building or incentive trips is the knowledge that from our partner hotel will have everything you need. One indoor team building activity in Chiang Mai that is popular with clients seeking to better educate its staff in better team dynamics is our selection of team building seminars, including Six Indisputable Laws of Teamwork Seminar Thailand and Five Dysfunctions Seminar Thailand. If you’re looking for something a little more exciting but also culturally rewarding we have our Top Chef and Cocktail Shaker Thailand team building challenges.
Our adventure team building activities center on a city wide Amazing Race and Jungle Adventure team building challenges. In the Amazing Race team building challenge participants will be given just a map, travel budget, and a first set of instructions to reach the first location in a series. One of the most exciting parts of this challenge is the interesting range of transportation on offer in Chiang Mai; bicycles, taxis, tuk tuks, songthaews, and more! The Jungle Adventure team building challenge takes place in one of the nearby national parks and is very popular with clients looking to see some nature while in Thailand. Participants embark on a team building adventure competing in a series of activities including mountain biking, rafting, ziplining, facing fears, and finding hidden locations in the lush rainforest of northern Thailand.
We also have a host of other outdoor team building activities that will be sure to leave your staff thrilled and in a stronger team unit. Outdoor Olympics and Hotel Survivor are two of our most popular outdoor team building activities. Teams compete in physical challenges against each other as teams and also individuals as players seek to improve their communication, cooperation, planning, leadership, and strategy skills. For our Hotel Survivor team building activity, teams will partake in challenges such as finding and making food, base camp building, raft building, jungle orienteering, and locating equipment needed for the next challenge in an exciting around the clock safe environment at your hotel, local park or nearby national park
Once you’ve had some team building activities, you can also give back to the local community through team projects for local charities. Teams learn about local community issues, such as pollution, poverty, and illiteracy, and together formulate a CSR project that helps meets the needs of the charity and locals.
