Treasure Hunt – Bangkok Team Building Program Overview
Your team will embark on an adventure around a chosen Bangkok area. Each team receives a map, cultural clues, and riddles guiding them to various checkpoints. Some clues require interpretation, others are challenge-based, and some even test local knowledge.
Participants must:
Decode Clues – Solve riddles that lead to culturally significant or hidden locations.
Complete Challenges – Perform team tasks at each point, often linked to Thai culture or history.
Find the Treasure – Be the first team to locate the final checkpoint and claim the prize.
Routes can be customized to suit your group size, time limit, or neighborhood. Treasure Hunts can also take place fully within hotel or resort grounds for maximum convenience.
Sample Treasure Hunt Locations in Bangkok
- Grand Palace & Wat Pho area
- Chinatown alleyways
- Lumphini Park trails
- Riverside market zones
- Hotel/resort garden compounds
Each route is tested and designed for safety, accessibility, and engagement. We tailor the content for corporate groups, ensuring relevance and fun.
The treasure hunt locations often change depending on the duration of the event, but often include temples, waterfalls and sites of local myth and legend. This treasure hunt takes you through the different cultures around the country from the hill-tribes, local farmers and fishing villages to fancy resorts and classy cities, full of hustle and bustle making up the treasure piece locations.
At each location, teams need to find a piece of information that will lead them to the next clue point on the map and eventually to the final location and the treasure to win the race.
Insurance and instructor supervision at all times is an important safety factor, and in the event of an emergency of team member withdrawal, transport and medical backup will be standing by.
The event briefing takes place at the starting point of the race, usually in a meeting room or lobby of the client’s hotel or a restaurant. The group is separated into teams and introduced to their facilitators, then the lead facilitator gives an introduction of the event including (safety) instructions and objectives for the activity.
During the debrief, the facilitator discusses the event challenges and asks each team questions to assess their performance before announcing the winning team (if applicable).
Briefing and debrief usually take around 15 minutes each but can be extended for more in-depth analysis of team performance.
Starting with a four hour half day option, the Treasure Hunt can be customized to a full day, 8 hour program of discovery and intrigue inclusive of cultural and activity challenges and have lunch at a fantastic setting reflecting your location. Approximate time at each location is 5 to 20 minutes, travel time to the next location also 5 to 20 minutes and includes up to 10 locations.
