Zombie Escape Room
The story
On March 28th, 2023, a comet lights up the sky over the United Kingdom. 3 days later, reports start to come in of people experiencing strange virus-like symptoms and the casualties just seem to be piling up. You’re driving down the street one day when all you hear is a loud screeching sound before something -or someone- is sent careening into the side of your car and everything goes black.
When you open your eyes, you’re aching all over and have no idea of how much time has passed, but you’ve been moved to an unfamiliar location. It looks like you’re in a hospital room, but something isn’t quite right…. there’s blood on the floor that no one’s cleaned up and everything seems strangely quiet. The calendar on the wall tells you roughly what day it is, but other than that you’re clueless.
Once you’ve figured out how to get off the gurney and out of the room you’re in, the nightmare truly begins. A cryptic riddle offers you an insight into which doors will lead to your salvation, but with bodies strewn across the hospital, some dead and some undead, you realise you have to figure out where you are quickly and escape, before the zombies find you, and you become one of the walking corpses littering London.
This dynamic escape room challenges you to traverse the hospital in search of clues, codes and props to help you fight and escape the zombie horde.
Unlock each room to discover instructions on how to put together an emergency light, collect weapons and signal for help using a walkie talkie. Using a London A to Z and directions you found scribbled on a piece of paper you can figure out where you are to tell other survivors. But the more noise you make, the more likely it is that zombies will discover your location, so work quickly and quietly together to collect all the information you need.
This escape room combines traditional survival horror elements with logic puzzles and terrifying audio to create a lifelike experience of a hospital under zombie siege. Work with your teammates and duck from room to room to collect everything and figure out how to turn the power back on, but careful, zombies lurk around every corner.
And what happens when you come across the undead? Will you fight for your life or make a run for it? The sounds clamour closer as you discover more clues and realise your only way out is to make contact with the world outside and hope someone is still listening.
This escape room relies on teamwork and coordination to be completed before the zombies attack. Branch out and explore different rooms and parts of the hospital to make sure you and your companions have everything you need to make it out… alive.
