Singapore companies’ requirements for online teambuilding
- The two most popular platforms for online team building sessions are Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Some companies are not allowed to use Zoom, but Microsoft Teams works equally well for all virtual events.
- Most Singaporean companies looking for online activities are prioritizing fun, team bonding, improving cooperation in the virtual environment, socializing online rather than in person and taking advantage of virtual travel.
- Most of our Singaporean clients are asking for the activity to be fun but also challenging and engaging. They are often looking for a competitive element so the activities must be tough but not too hard.
Types of Singaporean organisations coming to us
We are currently working with a wide range of Singaporean organisations. There are the big names of tech, for example Microsoft, Apple, Google and PayPal. We are also working closely with a number of educational establishments, universities and schools, for example several polytechnics, the University of Singapore and the Singapore Institute of Technology. We have also now done several events for government organizations in Singapore such as the Minister of Education and the ministry of defense.
What team events are Singaporean companies asking for?
The majority of organizations are asking us for two to three-hour events usually in the afternoon or at the end of a working day. Several companies have taken the opportunity to do regular online team building sessions by making them a monthly occurrence. A lot of people are also looking for team building activities to be included with their end of year celebrations and ‘Dinner & Dances’.
With new team members joining since the lockdown happened many companies are wanting to get to know each other better and met new members by doing online activities or taking the advantage of our Virtual Treasure Hunts or Virtual Amazing Race to experience some travel during this time.
